advice naman po..

nagoverheat kanina yung makina ko..
then dinala sa talyer...
sabi kailangan daw palitan ang water pump kasi may tagas..
then magpapalit na rin ng radiator hose at gasket...
tapos kailangan daw ng bagong cylinder head kasi may bula daw, parang leak ata dun nung pinalitan before yung valve seal...

ndi ko sure kung dapat bang ayusin yung leak.. which means magpapalit ng ng cylinder head..para maayos ang oeverheating problem?
the quote is 10K for this whole problem..is it reasonable?

A replacement water pump costs 1k more or less from what i know (CMIIW). If you have a damaged water pump, the usual symptom is you lose water WHILE the engine is running.

I suggest that you take it a more reliable talyer for a second or third opinion. Maraming tsikot forum members dito ang may talyer na ok. Sounds like rumaraket yang talyer mo.

1800 yung water pump ko. FYI. GMB yun, "reputable" replacement.

i assume when you say "cylinder head" you mean cylinder head GASKET. 600 ang replacement nun. mahal kung cylinder head talaga :D

cylinder head - 1200 ...ndi ko sure kung head nga talaga...
radiator hose - 550
gasket - 800

labor for the change of pump, installation of hose - 1500
labor for cylinder installation - 2500 ..kasi ibababa daw ang makina
machine shop - 1200..kailangan daw ipamachine shop..

yung mga may talyer na tsikoters...please PM or post na lang..
baka in the future sa inyo na lang ako pagawa...

diba sobrang mahal ng cylinder head?
ang alam ko ito yung buong upper part ng engine block eh (the part with the valves and stuff) na nag-wa-warp pag nag-overheat ang engine.

with that pricing, baka nga cylinder head gasket. :P

Parts ok lang price, pero labor maha. Dapat sama na yung cylinder head sa waterpump change.

Madugo ang charge niya sa labor. Yung parts siguro, ikaw na lang bumili.

hanap ka ng ibang talyer...masyadong mababaw ang diagnosis "may bula" lang eh sira na agad ang diagnosis sa cylinder head.

Definitely merun possibility pero masyadong mababaw na dahilan yun. Gaanu ba ka overheat ang oto...as in itinirik ka ba at hindi na gumana ang oto? me langis na ba sa tubig ng radiator?

namatay kasi yung makina bago dumating sa parking lot..sa may landmark..
ndi naman umusok pero nasa red na yung gauge nya ng temperature..

no choice kasi ako nun kasi nung pag pinaandar, after few minutes, back to red na naman..

i've searched a repair shop thru net kasi not familiar sa makati area...
then nakita ko nga tong shop na ito..
pinaTOW ko na kasi pag senerbisan daw same din ang charge na parang na towing...

sana OK naman ang gawa...

Parang diagnosis ng mga gustong mangharang.

Tingin ko hindi naman basta nagwawarp yung cyl head kung minsan lang nag-overheat. Kung biglaan, it could be the water pump.

Ubos ba talaga ung tubig? Kumukulo ba sa may overflow reservoir?

Better bring it to a reputable shop that tests thoroughly and carefully.
