Old school kasi yung mga engine ng Lynx, tapos modern emissions controls. Ganyan talaga.

As opposed to newer engines designed around these emissions restrictions, which are smoother at low rpms.

mga sir another question.... pag po ba pa arangkada kyo napapasin nyo po ba yung medyo pigit pag dating sa 3k rpm? then pag diniin nyo pa yung gas tsaka sya lalong aarangkada?

    Yup... there's that hump.

The 2 liter feels strong at 2.5k rpm, tapers off at 3 - 3.5k, then feels strong again at 4k rpm. Dahil sa dual runner VICS intake... napipigil ang hangin until they open up at around 4k plus.

Regarding the wheels: ROTA makes the RS wheels for South East Asia. In other countries, the RS wheels are four stud only, to save on costs, as they have the more expensive automatic transmission and, in Taiwan, the fancier radio.

Of course, most of those owners couldn't give a rat's behind about the fancy radio or the automatic... they really wanted the manual... oh well...

back to the topic: Since ROTA makes the mags, you could probably ask if they'll sell you a set of four-hole RS mags, but those of us who've asked haven't had much success. (I was asking for the Fordclub).

At the dealership, original five hole mags are 6k per piece... about 24k per set. Just about the same price as a brand new set of 16" ROTAs (22-26k, usually). So if ROTA will sell you the four holes, expect them to cost that much.

This guy might still have them. This was posted way back in 2004 or so, but he might still be selling.

The mags aren't the same, and the headlights you could probably just have your stock lights sprayed for the blackout look. The tail-lights aren't a big deal... just get the skirts and the grille. Ford dealerships still have the grille replacement for the older Lynxes, but it doesn't look exactly the same as the RS grille. You could ask some members of Fordclubph (http://forum.fordclubph.com) if they're selling... bauer might be willing, he seems to sell everything...
