October 1st, 2005 02:21 AM #1I just bought a lancer gli 91 model, syempre me mga problems na sya...
1 is ung driver window di na naibababa (not power window)
2 is ung aircon mejo mahina na, minsan malamig pero pag talagang mainit di na kaya, parang sumakay ka sa taxi na pagka init sa loob
3 is ung front bumber the one that holds the license plate needs to be replaced.
4 lots of scratch (lady owned ito dait) and as I read black cars are hard to maintain but this is the lesser priority since all I need to get fixed asap is the window and the aircon
Any shop or tips you might want to give me? I would like to know some auto shops near alabang/muntinlupa area sana.

Seems like you just bought your self some problems - they're not hard to fix pero syempre hassle and gastos.

3) Check some surplus parts at Evangelista St. for your bumper if you think you really wished it replaced.
4) Regarding scratches, contact sir theveed here in this forum. He will help you get rid of them.Last edited by leinahtan; October 1st, 2005 at 09:55 AM.

The A/C is to be expected. Power windows deteriorate over time and lack of use (probably a good sign that it IS lady driven... never rolled down her window? ). The bumper is unfortunate, but if it's just a replacement of the fasteners, a little fiberglass work would do. Scratches are a given for a secondhand. I'd prefer a scratched car to a repainted car. At least you know it's orig.
Be thankful they didn't give you a crap transmission or a dying engine. If those are your only problems, you're pretty lucky.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

1. The window glass might be disaligned and/or the gears need proper lubrication.
2. Aircon problems vary. Have it checked at a reliable shop. There are topics on reputable aircon repair specialists around here.
3. Which is the problem, the bumper itself or just the plate holder? There are a thousand-and-one Pinoy ways to fix bumpers and the plate mounting, otherwise you should be able to find a surplus one in Banawe, Evangelista, etc.
4. A sachet of 3M rubbing compound can minimize shallow scratches. Meguiar's detailers can do a much better job so long as the scratches haven't reached the sheetmetal.
