even the Check Engine light is supposed to light up when you first start the car, then it's supposed to go away... As far as I know that's the how it works but don't know whether or not it's car-specific's... My car does it.

December 13th, 2006 01:53 PM #2Have it checked to be sure. If you lose oil pressure, or oil for that matter, it can kill your engine.
Thank God I have an oil pressure gauge instead of an idiot light.

December 14th, 2006 03:33 AM #5i cold climate location medyo matagal yun oil light na mawala. as long as it goes out ok yan. pag nag age ang ride your wirings deteriorates too. This would add resistance to the wires therefore sometimes giving you unusual different signals.
