    Good Day mga sir!

My mechanic found out na may leak daw yung gearbox ko.

My mechnics works in honda casa and sa kanya lang ako ng papa service for maintenance sa bahay namin since matagal na rin sya sa honda kaya kabisado agad nya pag honda car ang kumapare ng brother ko.

Sabi nya pwede daw e repair nalang yun, like papalitan mga oil seal and other stuff pra mawala leak. co'z sa casa daw ang advise pagganon papalitan buong assembly ng brandnew it will cost me around 40K ( big money)

Need some inputs kung ok lang bang pa repair mga ganitong case and how much aabutin or sa mga nagpagawa pag binababa gearbox for repair.

My ride is Honda Civic VTI 2000

Thank you very much & God Bless!

Yup, napapalitan ang gasket niyan. You can use original gasket (kahit binili sa labas) if budget permits.

if it's leaking then it's from the oil seals lang. walang repair kit dun, it's just replacing the oil seal. price differs depending on which oil seal and if you use orig or replacement ones. the seals range from 300-800 per pc, the lower priced ones are the smaller tranny oil seals and the more expensive is the big crank oil seal between the tranny and block. hard to know which one it is without looking at it pero it would be a good idea to replace all while the transmission is down.

you may also want to have the clutch looked at sabay so just in case manipis na sya pwede mo na pagawa since labor will not increase since the transmission is down na.
