my vr v6 sinisinok din last december lang, pag higher rev nawawala (or baka hindi lang pansin). akala ko nung una madumi lang air filter, yun pala meron na tama yung isang spark plug wire, yung sa cylinder 1. pagginamitan ng tester infinite na resistance, meaning may break na sa loob nung wire, so naglleak na sa may coil yung kuryente. kitangkita yung leaking electric current pag gabi tapos madilim. nung pinalitan ko yung wire, ok na. pede mo din check i think yung pagkaka-secure ng sparkplugs, kasi minsan merong dirt in between the valve cover and the spark plugs, so hindi nasyado nagground yung sparkplugs. and yep, try mo din orig sparkplugs

GlennSter, forgot to add, nawawala din yung pagkasinok ng galant namin dati kapag mainit na yung engine. maybe kapag uminit na yung engine, nagiging soft na yung insulation ng HT wire and nacocompress yung leak. kapag malamig naman, nababanat yung insulation kaya nagkakaleak.
madmaxmaloles, please create your own thread for your inquiries about the galant you are planning to buy. you are 'hi-jacking' GlennSter's thread. ;)Signature

madmaxmaloles..ok lang...as ive said sa MYMITSU, nasa tamang paggamit lang ang galant=)
i checked the specs of that galant..mukhang OC naman ang nagbebenta, so malamang maayos naman yan.

madmax,
regarding the price nung V6 na pinost mo, mukhang ang dami daming napalitan dun sa 7G na gusto mo. and it's the last year 7G na yata. i would not expect yung price ni bluebimmer na 280k. for example nagpalit na siya ng hydraulic lifters, 24 yun. if the price follows that of other HLA-equipped engines, 2000 *each* yun. so dun palang (wala pa yung JDM stuff) nakagastos na siya ng malaki. and all those suspension bits siguro nasa 30k yun.Last edited by orly_andico; May 18th, 2005 at 02:49 PM.

i think we got the problem na....the SPARK PLUGS (bosch platinum!!!)
i went to SPEEDYFIX kanina (wala nga alng si migs) and his mechanics quickly told me na most probably, it's the spark plugs.nagloloko daw talaga ang platinum...ok daw siya sa mga mercedes (experience na daw niya ang ganung problema sa platinum and lectured me about the importance of matching the spark plugs with the HT wires.)
ayun..nawala ang tigok at usok!
ill check it again tonight pag malamig na ang makina.that's when the sinok appears kasi.
thanks guys!!
