    consider these:

    car is galant vr v6
    changed spark plugs to platinum
replaced leaking spark plug oil seals
    changed oil to semi synthetic
    replaced fouled high tension wire
cleaned the "entrance" of the throttle body
cleaned the sludge inside the valve cover
    cleaned the air filter
    replaced oil filter
    replaced fuel filter
    used unleaded
    shifted to xcs(petron)
    shifted to super premium (shell)

and still, sinisnok pag malamig pa ang makina.i thought the throttle body was just dirty...so we cleaned the entrance.should we dismount the whole thing and clean it?the mechanic said na biritin ko lang nang biritin para mawala yung dumi..ive been making birit ever since...nagiging ok siya.pero pag lumamig nanaman ang makina...ayun nanaman...*hiccup* *hiccup*

    haay haay haay

    thanks in advance

Uhm... have your tried putting Biodiesel? Hehehe :P

Have you tried asking the opinion of some Mitsu mechanics? I checked yung sa VR ng Tito ko but it doesnt seem to manifest the problem.

    Some other things to consider:
    - vacuum leaks
    - a sensor that needs replacement (i'm not familiar with Mitsus but there might be other sensors that need to be checked)... is there any diagnostic tool that can do this?
    - try a HT wire from a VR thats running ok.

the weird thing kasi is....it gets better as the car warms up.

so i was thinking..something's clogged pag lumalamig..tapos nawawala pag mainit na...

mazda....that i am not so sure.kasi pagkakuha ko, mainit na yung makina..tapos pag uwi ko, tune up agad.

Is the Mitsu Galant Gen 7 really an unreliable car? I'm planning on buying the galant being sold by someone in mymitsuph I've seen the car and even went on a spin with it and everything looks to be ok. I've already informed my brother on the purchase and he got mad at me. He told me that those kinds of Galants are unreliable and you're just wasting my money (sorry if I'm hurting anyone's feelings) because his friend came from a camry and sold it and got a gen 7 galant. And from what he observed is that the car is "sakit sa ulo" and he suggested that I should just get a camry. Now, I really like the car that I'm getting but I would like to hear some feedbacks on those who own those kind of Galants.

    Thanks again!

Yeah, it was informed to me by the seller that automatic galants are problematic (di raw kaya ng tranmission yung power ng makina) and also the front suspension. Manual po yung kukunin kong VR. Would anyone know the going rate for these kind of model?
