if you get the real stuff it's supposed to be really good pero i heard it's being repacked by conoco na locally so i'm not sure na of the quality.

How do they compare to Motul? I read somewhere that their full synth is esther based, is this true?

Also since they are part of the Total group, how are they marketed? Higher end oil compared to Total or what?

oh, i'm not sure if they are ester based. you may want to google it nalang.

as far as i know there is hardly any marketing done and they are doing most of the selling to companied who use diesel vehicles.

Elf = Total in terms of lubricants daw. Same banana different wrapper.

I'm using Total's semi-syn 15W50 (ata) and ok naman. Sabi pa ng mekaniko: "Ang bango!!!"

Using Total ATF dex III since May. So far no complaints. Although, I did notice that while it is colored red like most ATF, it looks clear on the dipstick.
