My car's a '98 corolla xe (163T kms). Paano po ba gawin DIY carb cleaning? Anong brand carb cleaner maganda for my ride? Sabi kasi sa ibang thread, wag basta-basta ipa-overhaul sa kamuning. Ok po ba yung nabibiling carb & fuel injector cleaner that you can just mix with your gas?

August 2nd, 2005 12:28 PM #2ang alam ko sa carb cleaner is that it comes in an aerosol spray. tanggal mo lang ung air filter to expose the carburetor, then spray away. maganda kung me kasama ka to rev up the engine; namamatayan kasi pag inispray na naka idle lang.
not sure if you're supposed to rev the engine hard para pumasok talaga ung carb cleaner

August 2nd, 2005 05:51 PM #6i think nakakainterfere sa proper combustion ung pag spray sa carb kaya namamatay...not enough air going into the mix, perhaps?

August 23rd, 2005 10:54 PM #7Earlier DIY carburetor cleaning ginawa ko, bumili lang ako nung cleaner sa Ace Hardware, 169 pesos sya. Then I just removed the air filter and sprayed into the carb while revving the engine, nung medyo bumaba yung rev namatay makina, kelangan talaga naka rev yung engine around 4-6,000rpm.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
