June 19th, 2003 11:52 AM #1pansin ko lang na matigas yata ang suspension ng ride ko na CRV 2003 (as compared to my previous 97 Civic Lxi). is this normal for the CRV or baka may factory defect yung shocks?
salamat po sa inyong lahat...

normal lang yun... stiffer tlga yung suspension ng 2k3 crv to make it support the alegged 10 seater capacity in order to avail of its AUV status. pero negligible naman para sakin yung stiffness or baka sanayan lang.

However, dito sa Philippines, like ssaloon said, The 2nd gen V is really rides stiffer than the 1st gen due to the 10 seater thing.

June 19th, 2003 02:43 PM #5I've even changed my stock wheels with 17 inchers. Pero so far ok naman sya para sa kin. Mas tumigas sya compared sa 1st gen, pero not enough para maging malaking concern on my part or para mag-consider akong magpalit pa ng springs.

matigas talaga yung gen2 cr-v... the ride is a bit pounding on less-than-smooth roads, although hindi naman jarring yung impacts, but you can feel the suspension following every irregularity on the road surface. the seat cushions are ultra-firm, to boot.

Ok naman ang ride ng CR-V. Way better than a Pajero.

June 20th, 2003 09:50 AM #8boss OTEP, you might be right that it's way better than a pajero (i cant compare cause i don't have pajero), but how does it compare po kaya, in your own experience, with passenger cars like Civics, etc?
at the other thread, someone mentioned na baka walang langis yung ilalim something... i don't really know what it means... how would i know kung wala nga.. :-)

mas bouncy tlga yung CRV compared to a civic kasi higher center of gravity and mas stiff tlga ang gamit na shocks ng V kesa sa civics
Anong Chinese brand na ba ang available sa market? Yung Leoch brand may nakita na ko post sa FB....
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
