just did a research, yep you're right boybi! laminated is back for one reason, the plastic film they use now is stronger and it will in fact prevent you from flying out through the windshield. outdated na pala ang alam ko ehehehe! :embarass:

try novus. it was on cats edsa before. had our pajero's windshield repaired there. they will drill a small hole near the crack and fill it up with reinforcing material. kita pa rin ang crack, pero arrested na yung paghaba ng crack. our windshield crack was done in year 2000 and up to now, di na sya humaba. they told us to keep the receipt coz lifetime daw yung warranty nila dun sa repaired crack.

sir, sept last year i had my windshield scratch removal at novus/ziebart pasong tamo near denso/coolmate. look for ariel. sorry no number sa receipt.

I had my Starex windshield crack repaired at Novus Ziebart last September din. Si Ariel and his bro ( forgot his name) rin ang tumira. Okay pa rin hanggang ngayon. Try contacting Ariel at 0920-2621248 kung saan sila nakapwesto ngayon.

FYI: sabi ng LTO, driving with a cracked windshield is a violation. so sayang lang kung ipaparepair ang cracked windshield dahil huhulihin ka lang ng mga LTO deputies.

i had my WS replaced more than a week ago sa aguila...try mo dun,sir...it cost me P4,400 (WS, inclusive of moulding sealant), P1,400 (weather strip), P2,200 (WS fastener)..P350 ("tip" sa gumawa kasama na primer )...pwede na kesa sa kasa. They made an estimate of 15-20taw for the whole thingy.

had my windshield reapaired dun sa may munoz, sabi pag gumapang yung crack ibalaik para i dikit ulit. so binalik namin nung gumapang ng another 6 inches, kaso gumapang ulit ng another 8 iinches. sobrang init ata kaya humahaba yung crack, now the crack is about 24 inches long. then nag canvas ako ng aguila repalcement, 3500 lang for repalcement kasama na kabit.

paps, ganyan din nangyari sa WS ko....inch by inch un crack until it ended almost breaking the whole thing in half....horizontally facing the road...sobrang hati sa gitna,literally....sabi nila dahil daw sa shear and tension nun frame nun body nun car while driving kaya lumalaki un crack.

AFAIK, "scratch repair" consists of further abrading the windshield with a rubbing-compound style substance.

kung medyo kamote yung gagawa nyan, you'll end up with an aesthetically good looking windshield but useless in the night - may glare from the microscratches.

nag inquire ako sa Novus, 5-6 years ago, 2k ang singil for 4 square inches of crack, 2 small cracks kasi, kaya 1k each. Nagpalit na lang ako sa Aguila. 4200 lang.

have a crack on my windshield due to a stone. iniisip ko idaan sa insurance pero baka may alternatives.

is novus in edsa/connecticut still alive? which is the better shop, yan or yung carsavers sa libis?
