Cold start - hard start

simple answer lang yan. the fuel pump needs to pressurize the lines kasi overnight nawawalan ng pressure.

wanna test this theory? ganito.. after you've started out for the day, you say 1-click start nalang, right? OPEN YOUR GAS TANK. sisingaw yung pressure buildup. close the tank again. i bet hindi na siya 1-click, you'll have to do the 3-second delay bit again. but in my experience, hindi dapat kailangan i-bomba yung gas pedal: the engine computer will automagically give a super-rich mixture (equivalent sa pagbobomba) when cranking. maybe your IAC valve (ISC or servo..) and/or throttle body needs cleaning. gummed-up IAC means trouble when the ECU wants it wide-open (e.g. when cranking) and some rough idling.

normally EFI cars run rich naman eh, so a gasoline smell isn't abnormal. i've smelled gasoline around my car's back end for a couple years now. wala namang sumabog, and my fuel mileage is just about right for a car of this age and displacement.

orly: actually, kahit naopen yung tank ok lang sya since pag nagparefuel ako one click nadin sya agad.

Manilis po ang aav/throttlebody etc ko kalilinis lang sa casa.

hm that's indeed somewhat strange... baka kahit open tank there's enough fuel in the fuel *lines* that hasn't drained out. i'd hardly call it a deal-breaker ;) lalo na kung ano-anong gastos pa ang aabutin to find the problem.. pero the simple stuff like fuel filter, ok lang siguro..

parang lahat ng yan dinaanan ko na this year. ang difference lang, carb yung kia ko.

di ko rin ma pinpoint kng ano dahilan.

basta ngayon one click na cya pag morning. no more waiting sa on position. pero pag nag start and you immediately press the gas pedal, namamatay. so dapat hayaan mo sya mga 10-15 secs bago depress gas pra tumaas idling.

Any update on this. Ganito din experience ko sa nissan sentra series 3, b14.

Sakit sa ulo nyang cold start hard start na yan, naranasan ko yan nakaka 5 click na ako pati lang naandar. Ginawa ko para maalis yan pinalitan ko spark plug at hinanap ko yung butas na hose na may natagas na tubig, nawala naman.

Sakit sa ulo nyang cold start hard start na yan, naranasan ko yan nakaka 5 click na ako pati lang naandar. Ginawa ko para maalis yan pinalitan ko spark plug at hinanap ko yung butas na hose na may natagas na tubig, nawala naman.

Nagpalit na din ako sparkplug, fuel pump, starter, high tension wire at injectors. Sir saan hose yung nahanap mo na may butas?

Yung series 3 namin kaya pala hirap mag start fuel pump at pinalitan yung fuel transfer hose naging ok naman
