Question lang sa SR20 (or any efi car)
Pag cold start ko (meaning the car has been sitting for over 12 hrs or so) hard starting yung car, parang naubusan ng gas.
But if I leave the key sa "ON" for a few secs and depress the accelerator a couple of times, it starts fine.
After that, kahit ilang beses ko istart, one-click na sya.
Baket parang nawawala yung fuel sa fuel line pag coldstart and kailangan pa sya i-prime?
Chineck na fuel pressure ok naman
BTW, sa mga sumagot na sa ibang board, thanks, dont repost na hehe

finchy: Honestly, lahat ng cars na nagamit ko eto lang ganun, except for the diesel benz. Once nastart na tong car, the rest of the day i can start it fine without depressing the pedal.
Pareng BB: Fuel filter OEM 1 month old. Fuel pump checked out OK sa casa as does the fuel pressure. Engine never hesitates when ran regardless of speed.

Clavel: Starter I'm absolutely sure it's fine, as stated, it start a-ok any other occation with a single turn of the key. Pag matagal lang di nagamit sya ganun.
While I do have suspicions sa battery ko kasi mahina nadin the past few days, it's not the culprit kasi the car cranks fine and the previous owner told me that has been happening for quite a while (at least 3-4 months na in this case since I've had the car for 2+ months na).

hula ko leaking fuel pump yan OR the line leading from the pump may leak. the fuel leaks back to the tank kaya empty yung fuel lines. when you switch to ON the fuel pump runs and fills the lines kaya ok, pero pag di pa umandar yung pump at start mo agad palyado kasi nga may hangin sa fuel lines. it could just be a small leak (sabi mo nga 12 hours or so na stop) kaya ok pa ang fuel pressure mo.
If you will drive mostly in the metro, go automatic because of the stop-and-go traffic. If mostly...
