I'll be getting that elusive first car in a few months. Can anyone post basic cleaning techniques for new cars? Please recommend products as well. Thanks.

pag maputik ang car, hose down mo muna ang loose dirt then start soaping from top to bottom. basta huli ang mga mudguards at rims para hindi mo na dalhin paakyat ang dumi na pwede mag gasgas sa paint job mo. don't wash the car if its been under the sun for a long period of time at let the engine cool muna bago basain ang hood. kung mainit pa ang car ay madali matuyo ang tubig. magkakaroon sya ng water spots. hth

    Devlin,

Before the looks try to check first the engine, electricals and drivetrain. Check the following:
    1) Belt condition and tightness
    2) Fluids
    3) Fuses
    4) Lights and bulbs
    5) Brake lining, pads and shoes
    6) repacking and greasing
    7) clamps and hoses

    goodluck on your new ride!
