nagpainstall ako ng central lock and alarm

normal lang ba na may kaunting rattle yung door actuator rods on uneven roads?

    if not, ano solution?

walang deadening ang door panels ko

Supposed to be sir wala dapat.
or, kung tinitignan mo yung pag-install (or tatanggalin mo mag-isa yung sidings),
meh mga foam na nakabilot on some parts, those are there to prevent magcreate ng sound

It's not the actuator but the rods that are rattling. di talaga fixed yung rods like in all actuators di ba? talagang may konting provision for movement

(the long thin rod in the pic)

and I can't see any way how to fasten it up without affecting the actuator's moving left and right (horizontal ang placement ng actuator rods dahil horizontal ang lock ko

    any solution to this problem?

i didn't see any foam sa rods. I never thought meron dapat yun kasi lahat ng nakita kong central locks walang nakalagay na ganun. paano binabalot ang ganito? may nabibili bang foams intended talaga for for these?

Pag nakatanggal yung sidings, you would usually see foam nakastick to the door itself, or nakabilot sa rod.
Ordinary foam will do sir, mapinpoint mo lang kung saan sakto nagiingay, then lapatan mo lang ng foam
kung saan sya bumabangga stick it with a thin double side tape, problem solved na.

Hindi siya bumabangga sa door frame/panel, but the rods are moving up and down on a horizontal plane creating rattling sound. on bumps and especially on rumble strips.

thanks very much, I will try your solutions

If the rattle is coming from the rods, you can just apply some automotive grease at the rod ends to stop them feom rattling im their sockets.

Are you sure the rattle is coming from the rods? It might be from loose wiring in the door that was not returned properly after they reassembled your doors.

Yup. I am positive that it's the rods.

BTW wouldn't the grease make the rod ends more slippery on their sockets leading to more rattles?
