    guys,
    tnx in advance sa replies.

are you going to replace it with a new set of tints? kungg oo, kasama na yung pagbakbak sa lumang tint sa presyo ng bago. try mo sa winterpine along araneta ave. significantly more expensive kasi sa autocentro eh.

You just need something to get rid of the sticky residue. You could try glass cleaner or something stronger.

I will enumerate.,

i'd say, if you dont have any defoggers to worry about, just DIY it. its easy to remove the tints... especially kung maayos ang pagkakabit.. dun sa sedan ko... the tint was almost 8 years old... i removed the tints and they peeled off completely.. leaving little or no traces of adhesives... sa mga natirang maliliit na adhesives... i just used glass cleaner....kung gusto mo professional ang pagtanggal ng adhesives.... ask theveed... i'd bet he has a lot of things to say about removing adhesives from the mild approach to the wild approach.. ehehehe:mrgreen:

I guess it would depend also on the kind of tint. I tried to take out the tint on my van and it was factory installed. The tint was actually two pieces of film. the first layer peeled off easily while the second sticky layer left a lot of residue that smelled awful also.
