Posible bang mangalawang ang lowering springs?

nakatambak lang kasi sa likod ng garahe namin yung set ko eh. if ever this happens, what can i do to undo the damage done and prevent it from happening again? will it affect the performace or ride quality of my car? sorry kung daming tanong, need your advice.

possible pero superficial lang not to the extent na maapektuhan yun strenght of material.

i think the material used for coil spring is similar to that of brake disk

it will rust since its steel...

to prevent rust, clean off existing rust and rub some oil all over it. Keep in cool & dry place.

will it help kung pinturahan ko yung rusted parts?

it would... just make sure its done after you remove all the rust first.

here's an example...

I have my stock disc brake rotors in my room in a cardboard box. Its been there for more than two years but there is minimal rust on it. Its stored under my bed lang. I didn't even have to oil it.

Make sure you coat the springs with primer first so that the paint will stick well. :wink:

undercoat paint will do.....medyo messy pero walang kalawang
unlike paint pag tumagal papasukin din ng tubig then mag rust na

hmm.. possible mangalwang ang lowering springs pag natangala ang pintura nito.. pero matagal siya matangal cause its powder coated..

pa powder coat nlang kayo ng lowering springs.. yun tlga ung ginagamit para sa springs..
