if you are talking about battery hold down, you are better off using a used or surplus one. the fit is important since the gap between the hood or bonnet and the battery hold down is close and it should restrain the battery from jumping up and down when you hit bumps on the road. your corolla has top post or terminal battery that risk the hood bridging the terminals when it makes contact
