    usual tune up:
    change spark plugs if needed
    check high tension wires
    change oil
    replace fuel filter
    clean or replace air filter
check transmission fluid, top up or replace as needed
check belts for damage and correct tension
check coolant level add/replace if needed
    check hoses for damage

check the engine's timing using a timing gun.

Now youve got all the answer. All you have to do now is, do it yourself (save money for labor))or bring em to shop.

Best to check your manual kung kelan palit ng fuel filter.

Yung sakin every 40,000 kms daw according to CASA, wala kasi sa manual.

yung ae92 nya does not have a contact point.

wonder kung surplus yung distributor na nilagay mo. it could be that some of the parts inside are already out of specs, like the pickup coil, iginition coil and the clearance between the rotor and pick up coil.

kung brand new ang nilagay mong distributor (brand new cost more than P20k plus), you can rule out the distributor as the culprit in your higher gas consumption.

aside from what userfriendly enumerated, consider also replacing the condenser kung hindi pa napapalitan. this is the one screwed outside the distributor
