Sabi nila it will gain 27-35hp pag nag palit ka ng pulley?
- 7" Crankshaft overdrive pulley
- Aluminum water pump pulley
- Aluminum alternator pulley
- Aluminum power steering pulley
- Two (2) belt tensioners w/ belt
- Windshield washer reservoir w/ hose fitting
underdrive pulley. ganun kalaki yung gain? ang alam ko, by changing the pulley, it will use less energy to spin the accesory such pulley is connected to. i've read before in a magazine that there's really no hp gain by changing the pulley alone. furthermore, sa high speed ang pakinabang talaga ng underdrive pulley, when the pulley is already in motion kasi it requires less energy nga. pero pag sa stop and go traffic, especially kung connected sa alternator, the opposite is true. parang riding a bicycle uphill ang illustration nyan. by changing to a smaller sprocket, the amount of effort to push the pedal is reduced. effect: you don't move as fast , but it is easier t pedal uphill. but when this is applied to an engine already in full song, (acceptable speed and rpm na) turning the accesory won't be as hard as using a stock pulley =)

kala ko nagkamali ka lang sa pulley na overdrive kaya sinabi ko na dapat underdrive. di kaya parang nag-even out lang yung pulleys na gagamitin? since nilakihan nila yung crankshaft pulley, i guess some other pulleys would be smaller now even if the serpentine belt would be changed. i've been reading kasi sa mga magazines puro underdrive pulleys pero this is the first time i've seen bigger pulleys naman ang gagamitin. let's just wait for other inputs pareng henry. maraming experts pa naman ang makakabasa nitong thread =)

changing the pulley to the supercharger to make it turn slightly faster is fine. This will produce slightly higher HP due to higher pressure from the supercharger.
I did this mod myself on which I installed the RE "Power Pulleys". It is the same as of the UUC "Under Pulley". The pulleys are a bit larger in diameter than the OEM and made of aluminum 6061-T6 and treated with anodize coating and therefore lighter. Actually it only gained about 5 to 10 HP range to your engine power especially at higher rev.

Sir, JC
wala ka ng ginalaw/upgrade "chip" sa computer box ng bimmer?

if hens has a supercharger ("kompressor") engine he will get far more than the 5 hp you get from an n/a engine (i.e. your bimmer). it is actually the s/c pulley (which controls boost pressure) that's being changed and not the crankshaft pulley (which uses engine power to run accessories - the "underdrive" pulley takes less power from the engine at the expense of a little less power for the accessories)
it's a great source of 30+ extra hp and as long as the pressure increase is not too large, it should have no serious effects on engine reliability/longevity.
kleeman's prices are ridiculous though for what is essentially a pulley, ecu upgrade and filter (tama ba?)
