not advisable ang fully synthetic oils sa brand new engines. kailangan at least 5,000 km. na tinakbo ng car bago mo palitan ng fully synthetic oil.

fully synthetic oil gamit ko on 5kms...

Nasa 5K+ na yung odo ko and I would like to check if there are any bad effects on this on my car. Diesel Engine pala yung car.
appricate any inputs.
Thanks.

mobil1 is one of the best (and also expensive) motor oil around.
btw, I used to buy oil before from chieffy and have it used on my rav4 for my PMS. no problem with those guys at toyota shaw-ortigas.

at 1000 km (621 miles), your engine is still breaking in. there is no need to change the oil at this time nor is there a need to add anything to the engine oil. adding friction modifiers only prolong the break in period and your average fuel economy would still be poor. follow the owner's manual recommendations.
