Years ago, I saw this ad in Sulit.com of a guy selling a Porsche 550 kit car based from a VW Beetle.

As you could see on the background, he was toying with a lot of ideas then.

    Hey MGuy!

His workshop was hit hard by one of those big typhoons. Ive partnered with him to build some of the stuff but were trying to create a standardised platform and were veering away from exact replicas to avoid the issues of getting the exact accesories.

But nice catch on the picture.

Well modifying Cars is not a hobby but a passion and forth sightedness to see the car in a certain way and to boost its performance. I will upload few pictures soon.

    Jaimegarch's shop?
    Fiberkits Philippines

They turned a Lancer box type into a Porsche 356 "bathtub" look-alike.

Kit car builders in the Philippines should get together and work on a common platform that can take different body styles to cut down on costs.

    a) roadster (like a Miata, but not a replica)
    b) coupe (like a Miata with fixed roof)
    c) dune buggy*
    d) super sport utility vehicle**

*Meron nang ACR Buggy, but that one is based on the classic Beetle platform. I'm suggesting a buggy body on the common platform.

**A sports car that looks tough, with high ground clearance.

Yup. The car is up and running. Looks pretty neat.

Sadly, he doesn't post here, anymore, but he is very active on Facebook.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
