Finally got to see MG's in the flesh courtesy of MG Commonwealth in QC.

The ZS certainly looks upscale outside AND inside. At price ranges where the competition tends to use more hard plastic, MG chose the leather + soft plastic route, and with stitching to boot. The workmanship of the exterior is also top-notch, the logo as the rear door handle is a cute gimmick. This car can turn heads.

The TOTL model is just a shade under a million (Php 998,888.00) and it comes with:

    • 6 airbags, yup, you read that right, anim ang airbag (the others only have 2 at best for that price)
    • 8-inch infotainment system (Apple CarPlay pa lang) and rear camera+sensors (The SA said there was a hack for Android Auto to work but I don't know if I should trust him)
    • Fog lamps front AND rear
    • ABS + EBD
    • Traction Control
    • Tire Pressure Monitoring System
    • Hill hold control (hanging)
    • Push Button Start/Stop
    • 6 speakers
    • huge panoramic sunroof
    • the list goes on...

At the 1M and below price range, the competition doesn't even come close in terms of features. Even at 1.1M, the competition will be hard pressed to match what's on the above list. And if what the SA is claiming is true (10 km/liter mileage in city driving), then this could well be the value subcompact of the year, non-SUV's included.

I hope TCCI doesn't f**k up in marketing this car.

reiman13 ang ganda nung kulay na red. Impressed ako sa MG at that price range. And the ride, it was good sa MG 6

Nagtanong ako kung saan ang mga casa nila. Sa ngayon daw ay wala pa.
Rapide daw ang authorized casa nila.
