hey all!
its been awhile since i last posted.
well, my hubby and i went for a road trip from VA to FL.
and guess what??? i got pulled over!!!
man, it sucks!!! i heard about the po-po's at Georgia...
but since i was going with the speed of traffic, i still got pulled!
he said that i was going 85mph on 70mph!!!
i am totally pissed!!!
so, if you guys ever have to drive by GA - dont get caught!
i thought you'd be used to it, living in va - va, the carolinas and ga all do that...i think ticket revenue is how the highway patrol stays alive.
got caught once making that same trip on i-95 in north carolina but by the time the cop caught up with me, south carolina na ako walang magawa si loko :eviltongu

Dapat kasi nag North Carolina/South Carolina (I-95) ka na lang, hehehe. Mas nakakatakot sa VA mag speeding..... hindi marked ang mga police cars tapos bawal pa radar

bad trip, back in 1995 nung speeding ako sa NJ side nakatawid na ko ng Toll Booth sa PA side, hinuli pa din ako!? pero the Highway Patrol did let me go and warned me lang.
Bawal din ang Radar/Laser detector dito sa CA, pero may loop-hole sa law kaya most people get away with it. ;)
Got pulled over once in Az when we went to the Grand Canyon. It was in Williams yata iyon. Anyway, we were looking for the motel [Travelodge] and the cop stopped me for 35mph, 25mph lang daw doon. I just told him na we were looking for the motel and didn't notice my speed. Mabait naman and he even lead us to the hotel. NO TICKET...
well, i called their hotline and i guess, i'll just pay $161.50.
(that money was supposed to go to my UGG boots fund)
man, whatabummer!!!
but check this out, coming from FL to MS, i got pulled over again by a FL state trooper (for speeding, again!) but he just gave me a warning!!! what a cool cop?! or maybe because i was wearing a skirt?! hmmmnnn....
5-0s around here doesnt even waste their time pulling you over if your speeding (up here in DC anyways) they'll get you with parking and running through red lights - for the most part.
by the way, i did take I-95 going down the "dirty south" but on my way back, i took 85 - which wasnt too bad... a lot of people were speeding too!
and i'm sorry M54Powered - for not stopping by.... perhaps next time?
the best one in the market... i've done a very thorough research with regards to this and many stand by this product. Thinking of getting one for myself soon.

It is only illegal if it's affixed to your dashboard or windshield and attached to a power supply. It's also illegal in CA, but ppl still has it in their car. When you get pulled over (if you do, then you have a shitty Radar/Laser detector), just put it back inside the glove box of under the seat. Or, you can simply stash it on the floor boards. If the cops asks you for it, tell him that the law says it is only illegal to have it affixed in your dashboard or windshield.
It's always helpful to have a DMV Booklet with you and read/understand the law whenever you ain't doing anything.
