--------------------------------------------------------------------------Foreign Company's always look for cheaper workforce. There is one company (I cannot disclose the name) that originally hires Koreans as their workforce. The Koreans then became expensive aside from limited English capability. Then they discovered the Pinoys who are fluent in english and are very good workers. They replaced all Koreans with pinoys. Then they discovered the chinese who are much cheaper. Well at present, the pinoy's still got the job for only one reason "language". Years from now, they will have the job since China invest very well in integrating english in their system of education. Once this happens, the fate of the Koreans will be ours.

Oo nga bro. Sabi nga ni Erning at Tado. TAMA!!
OT.

Who said that I relied merely on the government?? Me, believe in government propaganda? Ha! Don't put words in my mouth, ikaw lang ang nagsasabi nun. It was clearly stated in your previous posts na the 14B remittances has little significance. Dun ako nag-react.
In my field, it really becomes a problem when non-economists (or armchair forex analysts), make an assessment and start mouthing off. FYI, most developing nations peg their currency to the US dollar, and have dollar reserves. Simply because the dollar has become the de facto universal currency. That's not being wrong, that's being traditional.
Every economist worth his salt naman knows that the dollar is weak and that the peso isn't really getting stronger. No need for me to state the obvious.
Just be happy that we have OFW's who bring home the bacon. Why denigrate their achievements?

I am not denigrating their achievements. I even said that they have their own achievements as well as the president but it is not the real reason why the peso is getting "stronger". The issue here is not about the OFW, I don't have anything against the OFW and I am happy that they have something to bring home for their families.

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
