Good day mga chiefs

I would to seek your help regarding my "braking problems" .

Things is, every time I'm driving down steep (and even not so steep) inclines. I always hear a loud screeching - metal to metal kind of sound.

I thought it was simply time to replace the "brake pads" so I bought it to a trusted underchassis specialist and their mechanics said that my brake pads were still fine and need not to be replaced at this time. They said "makapal pa daw yung mga brake pads".

Madumi lang daw yung brakes so they cleaned them up nalang.

The sound disappeared for a few days after that pero bumalik pa rin sya later on. I'm thinking of getting a second opinion from another mechanic or even at the Nissan Casa at shaw, but I was hoping you guys may already be able to shed some light on this problem of mine before I bring it to another shop.
