im going to buy a brand new tires, i have 15 inch mags. . and im using 195/55 series tires. . gusto ko sana magpalit ng 50 series tires. . ok lang kya? hindi ba maapektuhan ang performance? or bka hindi ko na maitakbo ng long distance? thanks sa mag iinput. .

magiging matagtag ang ride mo at lower ng konti ang clearance mo. bakit mo sir gagawin 50 series? para ba mas maganda tignan? i suggest increase mo width to 205 para ma maintain mo yung diameter at mas maganda kapit sa daan.

pwede yan, yun nga lang, mas mababa ng konti kaya dapat laparan mo para maintained ang height. 205/50/15 bilhin mo.

so dapat mas malapad. . yung 205? pero kahit nka 50 series tires, pwde pa din ba sa long distance trip mga bro. ?

Smaller tires will change your gearing. You'll be doing 100-200 rpms more at 100 km/h than before, which makes for worse fuel economy but slightly better acceleration. The ride will get a bit worse, the handling a bit better.

If you're doing it for reasons of economy, don't bother. You'll save more gas sticking with the bigger tires.

Going series 50 tires will slightly affect the speed reading you will get on the car's speedometer. The handling will feel sharper but you will feel more of the road imperfections too. It might be more tiring to you to ride on series 50 tires. Otherwise, there is no issue mechanically with using series 50 tires on your car.

I used to ride on 195/55r15 on my corolla but switched to series 55 for a more comfortable ride.
