Guys solicit ko lang opinion niyo -- if you have to choose between K&N filter and iridium plugs as an initial upgrade, what would you pick? Which would afford the most improvement? Most bang for your buck?

caloymd: mas ramdam mo ang diff pag knn filter and inuna mo yung spark plugs minimal lang ang diff at hindi mo ramdam sabi nila sa milage daw pero de rin naman ganun kalaki e yung filter talaga mas ramdam so i suggest unahin mo filter then spark plugs

may datung si kmo kaya filter. kung ako una muna sparks, then ebc greenstuff brake pads then k&n filter. kasi w/ the 1st 2 walang mainvalidate na warranty. i asked already sa mantrade.

Ako takot pa din palitan air filter. If there will be problems with it, it will come out several years from now. There will usually be a trade-off in terms of engine wear and tear.

hmm i dont think na masisira naman yung makina just by changing the filter .... ewan ko lang kasi yun nga as ive said dati, bkit masisira ang component if all your doing is improve it? like yung filter, gusto mo lang mas free flowing at de mo na kailngan palitan lagi, so ok ang same as the spark plugs from stock papalitan mo ng iridiums which is better and yung brake pads na from stock to ebc greenstuff.. pero kanya knaya na yan hehehe

Thanks for the suggestions! Nung basahin ko mga comment sa australian forum nagdecide na din ako mgpalagay. La pa daw nagka-problem sa mga ngkabit nun, and most have good things to say about it. Sa Nihhon banawe available siya for 3500. Pakakabit ko bukas, hopefully makita ko din yung difference. Hehe, akala ko kasi lahat kayo ngpakabit na nun kaya hinanap ko sa banawe.
