    Logic lang iyang switch sa may manibela. It enables a relay to connect the headlights to the battery (high current)...

    Fuse box,- underneath the steering wheel column, to your left....

    Relay for the headlights, will look for it later.....

    Ako naman gusto ko matutunan kung asan ang control/pihitan ng idling pag no load, at pihitan pag may load (aircon). I suppose magkaiba yun.

    *michaelszky - pagmaganda ang pagkakatune ng carb mo using pure gas, papalo lang sa 200-300rpm ang engine mo sa umaga (or cold engine) dahil walang autochoke ang vanette natin, then aakyat sa normal na 800rpm (kung dun sya nakaset for idling), unlike EFI, pumapalo ng 1500rpm on cold engine startup then balik sa 800rpm. pag E10 fuel gamit mo, hard start ka na, and mamatay talaga pag umandar man kasi mas baba pa ang idling mo (mahiraphirap i-burn ang E10 than pure gas..mas richer mixture ng konti kailangan mo, so kailangan mo magretune for E10 fuel). kailangan mo apakan na lang muna yung accelerator pedal para tumaas yung idle for ilang seconds para uminit makina until mag stable na rpm mo sa normal idling. matagal na ang 5 to 10 mins na warmup para hindi mamatay engine. pagmaganda tune up mo, mga 30sec to 1min of cold engine start pwede mo na sya drive, di sya mamamatay, mas mabilis pa magwarmup.

    *smdelfin - nasa tabi ng kabitan ng throttle cable sa carb yung tinutukuran ng vacuum canister plunger ng para sa dagdag idling pag nag activate yung aircon. may adjusting screw dun para ma iset mo sa parehong idle speed ang engine pag may aircon at wala.

    *nismo - try mo hanapin sa ilalim ng dashboard malapit sa unahan ng cool box yung mga relays. i'm not sure kasi yung sa vanette ko modified na yung pang headlight at horn lang, nakalocate na sa steering column cover, malapit sa ignition switch.

    Mga pare, me problem ako sa vanette ko. Me nag leak sa baba ng intake manifold , daluyan ata ng tubig kasi nag overheat ang sakyan ko. Patulong naman kung ano pangalan nun, aluminum ang make niya at doon kinakabit dalawang hose isa papunta radiator yung isa pa punta ito sa engine. Anong tawag dun kaya kasi papalitan sabi ng mekaniko, doon ang leak hindi sa hose. Pa advise naman po.

    Mga Vanette Bro: mayron ba kayo alam na expert mechanic/repair shop na
    magaling sa Vanette sa may Diliman/Commonwealth QC area. Seems like Nissan Service Centers are no longer inclined to serve Vanette service requirements. May problema ako sa fuel line , carb. or whatever. Ayaw magstart ok naman bat.and starter. Thanks

    Gudpm mga sir, just got my vanette last saturday. . . 1998 grand coach. . . ok naman cya and hnd nagoverheat. . . hnd nga tumaas ung temp. eh. . . by the way medyo malakas nga sa gas pero sa tingin ko kulang lng sa tune up ung vanette but since na sakin na to. . . i'll treat this the way i treat my civic na parati on tune hehe. . .

    by the way mga sir. . . hnd ko kasi alam kung wala ba me maging problem if i change my mags to 16" with a 205/65/16 na tires. . . sayang kasi ung tires nagkamali lng ng bili ung uncle. . . binigay sakin balak ko gamitin pero i'm not sure kung walang rubbing issues sa vanette, hnd ba ito sasayad sa fenderliner? parang medyo mababa kasi ung hara ko eh. . . sa likod mukang wala naman pero still i'm not sure. . . hnd ko kasi kabisado ang specs ng vanette eh. . . hope someone could give a comment or suggestion for me on this matter. . . tnx mga gurus. . .

    Bro., 14 ang size ng gulong natin. Mas mababa ang unahan na tambol dahil leaf spring iyan kaya yumuyukod overtime pag naluma.... I think it will be best kung ia-akma mo, to judge for yourself if it will work.... Just to share, I still have the original tyre/mags configuration and when I was traveling at 100KPH or so at NLEX a few years ago and I hit a sudden change of grade on the road, my right front tyre scraped the body, torsioning and cutting a screw in the process...

    salamat sa reply sir CVT, so in short medyo malabo ko pala malakihan ang tires ko. . . eh kung pa lift ko kaya ng konti ung harap para pumantay sa likod then i'll try to change to a bigger tires. . . sayang kasi ung goma eh brandnew binigay sakin. . . gamitin ko dw. . wag ko benta. . . bawiin nya pag benta ko. . . hehe. . . salamat ulit sir, i'll post here the update regarding kung what maging progress sa pagpalit ko ng bigger tires . . .

    nga pala sir... do you know or do anyone here has an idea kung how much kaya ung valve cover gasket ng Z20 engine ng vanette? mdyo may tagas kasi tong sakin eh. . . i'm planning to have it tuned up , change oil tpos palit ndn ung gasket para isang trabaho nlng. . . salamat. . .
