CVT's right. Your alternator is not giving enough current to your lighting system. Your alternator is or is not working, One way to check if it's working is that while engine is running at idle, remove the positive battery clamp from the battery. If the engine still runs, alternator's OK, but if engine dies, alternator's not giving current. If your alternator is OK, but problem persists, it means it's not giving enough current to your lighting system. Try to look for alternators with 90 or 100 ampere rating.
Oh, before I forget, before checking the alternator, did you check the belt tension to your alternator? It may be loose.
