How long did it take you to negotiate that steep road going to Baler and how many kilometers is it? Planning kasi to go there next month and ngayon ko lang nalaman na may uphill road pala dun na you have to pass in order to reach it. We also have an Urvan that my family will use for that trip, if ever. Never pa kami nakakapunta in that area kaya I'm asking about it. TIA.

Baler is actually 266km (6 hours) from Manila based on my prefferred route (Nlex - San Simon exit - Gapan - Cabanatuan bypass road - Talavera entry - Rizal Nueva Ecija - Pantabangan - Maria Aurora - Baler) The winding and uphill spots would be around 60kms and starts past Rizal and all throughout Maria Aurora which would take you about 2 and a half hours before reaching flatlands of Maria Aurora. Just don't forget to be cautious at Pantabangan dam because its a long one-way traffic. This spot usually fogs up around 4 to 5am.

Woah! So ganun pala kahaba yung mountainous road? If coming from SCTEX*Tarlac exit, is the time travel much shorter ba? The distance pala is comparable when going to Bolinao, which takes around 5-6 hours, since it's almost 300km away from Manila.

So mukhang mahirap pala.

No need to rush.

For me, nothing beats TOYO HO8. 45,000km ran already but still in better shape than a brand new DUNLOP SPLT5.
