Hi, im planning to buy a nissan urvan 18 seater. For business use. Can i have the contact
number of the agent?
Im confused right now on what van will i buy.
Nissan Urvan 18 seater or Toyota HiAce Commuter:
Im considering:
1. Reliability and Durability
2. Maintenance cost
3. Parts and labor cost
4. Resale Value
5. Comfort
6. They are woes in the Toyota d-4d engines but never found one in the forum about an Hiace Commuter that have the same problem.
Please help all tsikoteers...

The D4D of the Hi-Ace isn't affected by the known D4D problems that existed in Innovas & in Fortuners.
Regarding it's comfort ... I've ridden both. Hi-Ace commuter & Urvan, all I can say isHi-Ace. I find the Urvan's seats harder than the Hi-Ace and I just gotta love the torque of the Commuter, really fast.
Parts & Labor cost, I really don't know on how are the figures in Nissans PMS but knowing Toyota ... it's parts are abundant and cheap.

May 8th, 2010 02:33 PM #4Para sa kin Nissan Urvan is a lot better if for business use ang purpose mo, i had a 2000 urvan before, used it for 8 years sa van rental actual mileage is around 700k pero ang parts na napalitan lang power steering pump, clutch disc (2x) di kasi oem ang naipakabit ko, release bearing, wheel bearings in short puro minor parts lang, regular cleaning ng aircon, sobrang sulit talaga and was able to sell it for 420k last 2008, it was only 705k when I bought it...

May 9th, 2010 10:00 AM #6yes no overhaul at very minimal ang bawas ng langis about half liter in every change oil interval w/c is normal sa diesel engine, just follow 5k or less change oil interval
di ka iiwan ng urvan mo, pag nag test drive ka dont compare speed kasi crdi na hi ace, maiiwan talaga urvan but long range planning I go for nissan urvan, good luck bro!!!

Thanks! nakakabilib yung urvan mo biruin mo walang overhaul for 700k.
hindi ka nag palit ng timing chain?
how's your fuel consumption? hiway and city?
Plan ko kasi iprivate muna yung van tapos after ilang month papalagyan ko
ng linya. Ano ba mas ok for business use na agad pag kukuha n ng urvan o
private muna saka na mag commercial?
