IMO, better to keep it clean. After making sure the body and engine is okay (the boxtype Sentras are prone to kalawang) then move to the extras; i prefer the stock 14" rims from the later B13 or B14 Sentras (yours is a B12 body). 15's would offer the best bang for the buck in terms of performance, looks, comfort and affordability. 17's will look real good but you'll be avoiding potholes here and there and comfort will suffer.

One of the best B12 examples i've seen before was one that was colored white (very clean) with 15" rims.
If you're looking to a quick upgrade your engine, a surplus GA15DS or GA16DS (carb version of the GA engines on the B13) engine will bolt on easily on the B12.
I have a friend who owns a B12 also, he's from San Fernando...

15" rims will do bro. BTW Kung ako lang tatanungin better leave the engine stock na lang. Mas maganda tingnan kung naka super linis kasi (ang engine ha) (My dad has one an SGX '88 model - champagne gold color). No tints and sparkling kinis linis pintura na malinis ang loob uber cool yan bro kung sakali.
