Nissan Sentra LEC 94' 1.3 performance problem

Hi Sir!

Baka po may makatulong sakin dito. Problem ko po kasi sa sentra ko, mabaho ung amoy ng usok lalo na kapg start sa morning/ Mahina din po sya humatak, lalo na sa paakyat. Sa rektahan naman, hirap sya maka 100km/hr... Naadjust na po menor nya pati timing, nagpalit na rin po new spark plug and iridium pa po ginamit ko. Asko ko lang po kung normal pu ba ito sa model ng sentra ko? Hindi po ksi ko satisfied sa performance.. Anu po kaya dapat ko ipaayos sa auto ko? Carburator pu ba? Sana po matulungan nyo ko, Thanks in advance...

We have the same scenario idol I just had that problem last March 26, 2013.

Mabaho amoy sa tambutso - with sometimes white smoke, eto patapos na overhaul nya. When the mechanic opened the engine all the burned oil is inside not to mention the carbon.

Mahina humatak - clutch due for replacement. Same scenario halos ayaw na umakyat ng 90kph.

I suggest go to the ordinary sparkplugs di naman pang performance or racing yung engine mo kaya baliwala irridium.

I suggest go to your very trusted mechanic to do the same to your beloved sentra. Ako total amount spent on overhaul alone is 20k labor and materials.

We have the same engine pala ga13ds.

Sir Brainmafia, ung sakin minsan humahataw naman gang 120kms sa SLEX pro minsan lang mangyari un kapag magaan lang karga ko. Bigyan nyo po ako update ha after maoverhaul ng engine mo kung gumanda na ba takbo at ano na max speed. Tama po kayo, minsan my white smoke din ung sakin. Nakakalungkot naman kung paoverhaulin na pala ung auto ko... Nakalineup pa naman po ito this month ng washover. Anyway, thank you very much sa info na binigay nyo sakin ha. God bless po!

Hello mga idol! Till now di pa rin nsosolve problm ng sentra ko. Mahina ang hatak, up to 110kph max speed lng. Pero ang main concern ko is ung mabahong amoy(amoy gas) inside and outside my car while engine is running. Minsan mausok sa unang start ng makina.malakas vibrate ng mkina.Habang hinahataw,lalong malakas amoy. Khit nkAC o hindi. Ngpalit n ko SP, inadjust n rin timing. Pti fuel/air mixture. Madami na tumingin na mechanic pero paiba-iba sila ng assesment. Mechanic1: need dw linisin carb..
Mechanic2: bk dw faulty na ignition coil kea mhina sumunog.
Mechanic3: itop overhaul,adjust valve clearance.
Di ko na alam kung sinu paniniwalaan ko. Bk po my nkxperience n n2, pls help nmn po...

Di kaya head gasket or valve seal sir? We had this problem sa esi namin, mausok pag first start of the day then mawawala, kulang sa hatak and very rich yung exhaust fumes. Turns out na may problem sa head gasket and valve seal, hindi daw naka seat nag husto.

pa-tune up mo ulit, sa ibang mekaniko naman. timing, advancer check, valve clearance. carb?

serious! hindi lahat ng mekaniko ay magaling..

Kung may usok ka na, piston or piston rings. Amoy gas, rich mixture, might be tagas or carb related. Barahan mo ng kamay yung intake tapos kung choke na or halos mamatay na makina, release. Do it mga 3 to 4 times. In my opinion your engine is due for an overhaul.

ako naman, during morning starts, medyo mausok pero when engine gets hot, ok na. mechanic told me its just possibly moisture since oil looks good and hindi naman daw nagbabawas.

Mechanic number 3 is an idiot. Hindi adjustable ang valve clearances ng GA series engines.

First: Do a compression test to see if you engine is still running healthy.
Second: Have your carburetor opened up and overhauled. Ensure that your jets are all OEM spec.
Third: Check your engine timing
Fourth: Replace your HT wires if these are the old ones pa
