I sat in the TOTL variant displayed in Market Market. While the SA was showing the features to my son almost fell asleep in the back seat thanks to the rear AC vents. The seats are really comfy and the padded door elbow rests are a plus.

you'd be surprised at thaisylphy forum members fuel consumption numbers are for the 1.6cvt. I know their traffic isn't bad as edsa during rush hour but who does edsa rush hour fuel consumption runs lol.

here are some extracts for the 1.6cvt from thai sylphy forum
    13-15km/l - city
18-22km/l - highway (the higher number is with just the driver no passenger *100kph)

According to the interview in this article, the Altima is from Thailand:

Nissan tags PHL integral to ASEAN growth goals | Economy | GMA News Online

"To mark our commitment in the Philippines, we are launching Nissan Altima and Nissan Sylphy – manufactured in Thailand. Next year, we are going to bring in new models that are competitive," Katagiri said.

7 year old ang kasama ko hehe. Pero sya ang maarte sa AC and comfort It's not a fan lang tulad ng sa Almera. Cold air talaga ang lumabas. The vents are located behind the center arm rest. Kala ko sa b-pillar bilib na sana ako

Yup, that would have free up center console space. Btw, those who have seen the interior of the Altis vs the new Sylphy, do check the fuel and trunk release of the Altis vs the Sylphy. Ang cheap ng sa Altis. Pareho lang ng sa old Adventure yung sa Altis. Epic fail lalo na sa 2.0V variants. Previous Altis weren't that shortchanged. The Sylphy has electronic release on the other hand.

It seems the sylphy is coming in strong...disappointment lang sa altima is yung low end niya na walang leather, dapat kapresyo ng camry 2.5G at 1.450M, more or less..

Saw the Altima at SM MOA the other day. Not as lowered as It looks in pictures and super space in the back row. Ingress and egress is quite easy unlike other mid sized sedans (I'm looking at you Mazda 6). Now I just have to find 2,030,000 pesos.
