i looked at the yokohama tire chart and got the following

    265/70 R16 (current stock patrol) -- diameter is 30.7" / tread width is 8.3"
    275/65 R17 (2005 patrol) -- diameter 31.3" / tread width is 8.6"
    285/75 R 16 -- diameter is 33" / tread width is 8.9"

halos konti lang and difference in height (tama ba ang interpretasyon ko sa diameter dito) and width between the stock 265 and new 2005 model 275

the 285s on the other hand raises the height by 2.3" and the expands the tread width by 0.6"

okay kaya itong 285 sa stock spring? how about the look? hindi kaya mukhang naka high heels ang patrol?

Sir, between OME and bilsteins, which performs better for comfort riding on a patrol? Thanks.

Parang nabasa ko before, OME for comfort. Matigas yata konti yong Bilstein. There's also the Rancho na adjustable to tune in to your desired riding comfort.
I just have no actual experience, kasi ok pa naman stock shock ko, nasanay na rin sa medyo matagtag na ride(compared to a sedan).

I really learned a lot from this thread, the Nissan Patrol really impressed me, not much complexity on the engine repairs or maintenance wise, I do my own car tinkering when I have time (since I own a reference manual for it). So far, the patrol has been very great that I'm opting to sell my Euro cars and keep this.

I was wondering if 22 or 24's would look good on this truck, hrmmm...

Guys, I have been back browsing on this thread until page 32

Anyway, my neighbor is selling his 2002 Patrol (Gas Variant) with 87t at the ODO.

Correct me if Im wrong on some of the facts and newbie questions (based on what I able to research)

    1) 5-7km per liter is the FC?

    2) They are more potential problems with the 3.0 Diesel than the 4.5 Gas for the engine?

    3) What is the average price to replace the tire? (Stock size)

    4) You need at least 8-9 liters of oil per change oil for the 4.5 Gas?

    5) Is the aircon, typical of any Nissan (Calsonic = Super Cold?)

    6) Going rate for 2nd hand Gas is 550t to 700t for 2002 model?

    Thanks for any future comments!

Yung FC will most likely be the same with the Ford Expedition.

With regard to the FC, what i heard from owners before was between 4-5km/L
and can get as low as 3.

As for the tires,we would suggest getting slightly larger tires as the stock tires are actually small for the Patrol if you look at it. it can fit 275 or 285 R16s easily.

sir boybi, question po...planning on changing my tires also. how big can i go for a GU Patrol with 16" rims and stock suspension - no modification/lift whatsoever. something that won't rub on the chassis(tama ba) and won't extend beyond the fenders, such that di pa rin tatalsik everywhere ang mga putik.

i'm thinking of 275/75R16...would this fit without problems, without lift?

275/75R16 will fit without any problems you mentioned. mine is 285/75R16 without any modifications on my rig.
