    For Nissan Philippines

Kindly check your advertisement in your internet home page regarding test drive this contradicts our experience while we are consider to buy Grand Livina Road Master..

We are very dissappointed in your test drive policy in Nissan Dasmarinas Cavite.

    1. We request for a test drive, they schedule us for a test drive today (April 30,2011) while waiting for the approval of our Bank loan in BPI Dasma Cavite.
    2. While their agent arrange for our test drive they give us a policy that we need to sign. It indicates that incase of accidents/loss it will be charge to us, because they given us a brand new car without plate number for a test drive and have no insurance. If this is the policy, will you expect that your customer will enjoy and become satisfied in your test drive considering that your customer is worrying of the charges that may come?
    3. We asked your agent, "bakit ganito ang policy ninyo?" your agent told us "sira po kasi ang car namin na pang test drive."Another question is: Kelan naman maaayos ang inyong testdrive car?Your agent answer "Hindi ko po alam? I am just amaze why it cann't repaired your car immediately, samantalang kayo na ang napoproduce ng parts. Also, this Model Grand Livina is about 2 t0 3 years old, wala bang available na piyesa to repair your test drive car?
    4. Take note, they given us our test drive only less than 1km. Do you think your customer will feel the power, the feautures, the advantages and disadvantages of this model? And san ka naman nakakita na 2-3 years old palang ang Model niyo ang pang test drive ay sirana agad hindi naman ito palaging ginagamit and I think kapag almost sure buyer na tsaka magrerequest ng for testdrive..

We recommend you test drive a vehicle before buying no matter how others may praise it. A few notes:
    • Schedule a test-drive appointment, preferably on a weekend. ito sinunod namin
    • Before you embark, the dealership may ask to hold or photocopy your driver's license. Some may also request other background information.
ok naman ito nasunod naman ito ng agent namin
    • Most dealerships require a sales professional to accompany you. Consider this an advantage: the salesman can answer questions and demonstrate features while you drive. hindi na namin ito nagawa at umalis na kami kasi nga sa distance ng test drive na binibigay samin
    • Drive carefully but, where possible, tackle hills, rough surfaces, parallel parking and tight turns. Put the acceleration and brakes to the test. If possible, test drive the vehicle at highway speeds.
maeexperience niyo ba ito in less than km..
    • Use the stereo, turn on the air conditioning, and generally determine how easy it is to adjust controls while you drive. Also, check for visibility or noise issues.
By taking these factors into consideration, you'll be better prepared and more likely to have an enjoyable experience while looking for your new vehicle.

    :hysterical:

At highway speeds ? Hahaha. And you're only allowed for less than a kilometer ? How stupid can they get.

Better send this forum link to their email and let them read your complaint and make them sorry for not " allowing " you to purchase their vehicle which I don't see often on the road. Probably it's that crappy or their dealers are the ones who's stupid and incompetent. hahaha.

ako experince ko sa NMPI-- 1.8L elite MT...2 days test drive.. matipid talaga.. proj.6-losbanos-proj.6-cabanatuan(via sctex)-proj.6 = approx. 1 full tank (assuming na full tank from planta sa laguna to our place.)

kahit ano namang sasakyang test drive may waiver!

It is the prerogative of the dealership how to handle test drives of their vehicles.
The conditions are given for the safe use and test drives of their vehicles.
Normally they have a preferred road to conduct the test drive, depending on the dealers location.
Both parties must be reasonable and agrees on the terms.

IMO, the dealer has a valid point in having the waiver signed as this is done with all car companies that i have done test drives with.

Even demo units break down or may be in need for servicing or repairs; especially if it is one that has been abused by the media, would-be-owners and company personnel (or there was another test drive scheduled, you really wont know the exact reason). Demo units really take a lot of beating up.

They tried to make amends by risking their inventory unit just to close the sale (pag nabangga or nasira yan, its a P 1M loss for that company because inventory/stock insurance only covers vehicle stored as inventory).

Why 1km Test Drive? Of course they will want to minimize the usage of the car as this vehicle will be sold eventually and adding mileage to a brand new vehicle is a no-no. IMO, a 1km test drive for me versus a 10km test drive is not much different if one wants to know how the vehicle really feels; I would always have more definitive comments on cars we've purchased after a few hundred kms or after taking a nice long trip up to Baguio and back.

I'm not defending the company, these are just my thoughts.

-Yes, since we want that Nissan Livina, we approach them, "Can you scheds us for another test drive using your demo car, do you have other demo car in other branch of Nissan? agent told us "We have only one demo car for all branch of Nissan. another thing, "Kelan naman maaayos ang inyong demo car hintayin nalang namin." sorry mam hindi po namin alam.. this is just only 2-3 years old, para magkaroon ng major problem na mismong planta ng Nissan cann't fix it ..

Yes, truly yours, but before we decide for buying something, we search in the internet, we read their brochures, we us go for a forum like this just to have some a little of advice. On their own advertisement, they advice for a buying tips, which they can teach their prospect buyer what should have to do before deciding to buy a new car. Of which before a dealer tie-up in Nissan, they know what is include in their advertisement which everyone should comply otherwise masisira sila like what happen to me, its contradicting in their actual service than what it is advertised.
