From what I gather, there are future plans to release an extended-bumper edition of the Teana. This modification will definitely make the sedan look old and pointy.

The proposed name for this variant? Nissan Teana Reeves.

The steering wheel looks like a Caddy/Buick type block.

When I first saw this car sa Taiwanese mag 4 years ago, I loved it... Now that it's 2006, it's so old and dated.

The tail lamps look as if it were ripped off the current Sentra's.

The Dash, knobs, interiors, has very a Murano-like feel and appearance to it.

The Hyundai Azera as a fullsize is a misnomer. It just has a bit more headroom. But, it's nothing like a Crown Vic or Caprice. In fact, it looks just a bit smaller than the Hyundai Sonata but it does have the more powerful 3.8L 263 hp V6.

One of the teachers in my kid's school owns an Azera. I was able to park my Sonata next to it and make a side by side comparison.

I do agree that for the price, the Teana should have the 3.5L V6. I figured Nissan may be thinking about fuel economy. But, I rather leave that to the customer. If I want a gas-guzzling V6, then the choice should be mine.

    Thats the Problem now:
The current Sentra we have here was facelifted/buttlifted to look like the then new Teana which was launched in Japan back in 2003.
We got the updated Sentra, but we never got the Teana.
Now that we're going to have the Teana years after the facelifted/buttlifted Sentra was launched, many people say it looks like the old Sentra, when in truth the Sentra's facelift was based on the Teana.
