    Hi Mystic Tie,

Welcome to the club! Hehe.. in behalf of Speed Unlimited and Fulcrum! Just finished posting. Might as well take you in.

Congratulations for getting a very nice car.

Eh!?! Long drive to Quezon province so soon!?!

Better drive the car around for a few days and observe. Unless you get to know how much the car can endure then do have it checked by NISSAN. Just found out this morning - NISSAN QUEZON AVENUE Change oil and filter promo - Php 999.00 with Consult diagnostics and 25 point checkup. They are also offering other services. I suggest you take the car for a change oil since you are planning a long trip then have that Consult diagnostics. That alone cost about Php 500.00.

    >> Check tire conditions - all four of them including the spare. Make sure they are aligned/camber corrected and can endure the trip.
    >> Transmission/Differential oil
    >> Check the belts too. NISSAN like HONDA is at disadvantage for spare parts in the provinces. You got money then have all of them replaced and keep the old ones as spares.

    >> Hehe.. that's what I have in mind when going on a long trip. I'll let the other members to fill in the gaps.

If you have that confidence in your car then you'll enjoy a comfortable ride. All the way.

Regards and Merry Christmas! Have a nice trip.

Hi Speed and rest of you Guys,

    Happy New Year!

Finally got the thermo sensor/switch that I got from Banawe installed this morning. Now my auxiliary fan is working as it should and the engine light on the panel turned off after the engine started. Hehe.. What a relief.

The mechanic at the Petron Station in Visayas Avenue and Congressional did the installation. Took about thirty <30> minutes and it's done. The auxiliary fan did not work after starting up. Then it worked when I turned on the airconditioning. After about thirty <30> seconds it turned off. Went around a bit and the auxiliary fan was turning on and off. The temperature gauge was steady below the mid line.

Well, that should have fixed the problem. I was advised though that the thermo sensor/switch that I got from Banawe was just a replacement so I should watch it and not expect it to last like the original. I'm thinking of getting one again when I get to be near Banawe for a reserve just in case.

Oh, boy! 24k for an evaporator thermo switch assembly from NISSAN QUEZON AVENUE. Good thing Banawe is a walking distance from there.

NISSAN QUEZON AVENUE - Php 24K! with the evaporator assembly. Don't sell the thermo sensor independently.

YOUNGBROS - Php 650.00 replacement only no original but the connector available is square. The NISSAN EXALTA Grandeur has oblong connectors.

    YEN COMMERCIAL - No stock.

OREO AUTO SUPPLY - Php 550.00 <VAT INCLUDED> replacement no original with oblong connector. This one I got and installed on my Exalta. Works fine to date.

Hi Speed Unlimited and the rest of the Gang,

Wishing Everybody A Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Brought back my youngest daughter to Fountain Breeze in Paranaque just right after lunch. She got classes tomorrow already. I was expecting mild to heavy traffic. Used my old reliable manual Revo <diesel> instead. Did not used it much during the holidays. Only for short trips to the grocery <less than five kilometers back and forth>. I was afraid the battery <four years old now going five> might get weaker and drained if I don't get to use the car on a much longer trip. I thought this trip is the opportunity to get it charged real good. Actually it did four cycles before the engine started. Usually it get to start with just one click of the ignition.

Traffic along EDSA was relatively mild all the way to Paranaque and back through Roxas Boulevard. Saved on gasoline really. Somehow it is now 10:30 pm and I can't go to sleep yet. My feet, arms and shoulders are aching and my body seems to be shaking still from all the pedal pushing, gear shifting and the bounce. Should have used the EXALTA instead. The soft ride with her is really different - much less body strain and stress. I'll remember this for a very long time.
