AFAIK, the new Patrol is CRDi. Has been for a while. Will have to check.

UMC already has the Frontier Navara. Unless and until Nissan actually builds a Montero-class vehicle for Asian consumption, that's all they're getting. Nissan had the Terrano before, but the new Terrano/Pathfinder is unibody, and would be too expensive to sell against the Montero locally.

thanks niky... im really a nissan fan (still using a 92 sentra til now!)...nakapanghinayang kasi many people have been waiting for an X-trail alternative that's of the same class as the Montero... NMPI also seems hesitant to release the new sentra... haaay...

Walang bibili nun kasi mahal and Grand Starex simply is the no-brainer choice at that price point and purpose.

Sana dalhin nila Pathfinder dito (the D40 look).

Not practical ang Pathfinder since different ang built niya compared to Fortuner or Montero Sport or even Everest. Parang Chevy Trailblazer ang built nun eh. So kung dadalhin yun dito, about P1.8 million ang entry price niya.
