Mas mabagal sa product launches at kilala sa overpricing ang UMC.Dati silang may hawak sa Datsun nung 70's and 80's pero di rin masyadong naging successful.

Nagsisimula palang magbago for the better ang NMPI for this year beginning with the new Sentra which is good news(locally assembled units will follow soon) at more new product launches this year.

Lancer EX?Medyo crappy ang locally assembled units lately(wood trim na sablay at some interior quality issues parin lalo sa quality ng dashboard nya) at still pricey parin(5% parin daw kasi ang local content nito kaya mahal parin).

NMPI has been handling the Sentra and other gasoline cars lineup for decades. They're the ones who oversaw the introduction of the Taiwanese-built Exaltas and Grandeur Exaltas.

Mahal? The Lancer is still the cheapest non-Chinese 2 liter gasoline car you can buy locally aside from the Focus, which has nearly the same price despite the higher local content.

You can knock Mitsubishi for a lot of stupid things they do... but the Lancer and Strada are some of the best-bang-for-buck products on the market today.

Nissan is actually not expecting too much in terms of sales sa new Sentra 200. Oh well hoping that the locally assembled units eh mas mura at mas maraming variants!

They should've just brought the Altima (sedan/ coupe) and the Pathfinder in.

Nissan Versa nalang na galing China or Thailand, para meron naman silang sub-compact sedan at hatch.

Sorry OT. Back to topic. Overpriced masyado ang Sentra B16 base sa price at specs ng NMPI website.
