It's bigger than the Aveo you are comparing in another thread. Riding comfort is adequate for five adults (not 2 adults and three 13 year old girls) and enough leg room at the rear seats AND front seats. Seats are comfy enough for long distance driving.

Performance is.... er.... "adequate" to get you from point A to B even if fully loaded. Fuel economy is good as long as you keep the engine revs low. The suspension is somewhat "medium" to me as it an be subjective from person to person.

A/C is cold. The base model's A/C controls could be better though since the blower control knob is kinda on the small size.

Overall, if you like the current Sentra's styling, it's an "honest" car offering you transportation but without any PR BS about being sporty or executive class.

Note: if you are interested, you can have your new Sentra converted to LPG and still retain the warranty.

Best way is to go to the dealers and ask for a test drive so you can find out for yourself how it is to drive them. Given you will be owning the car for years, it's best to be sure on your purchase.

Well. I consider the current Sentra as a "no frills" car. Not very attractive but can do the job of ferrying people.

IMO, it is better than the Aveo sedan.

But I will pick the base Lancer GLX/GLS over the Sentra. I think the Mitsu has styling and a bit more "character".

Take home message: see, feel, and drive it for yourself... go to some dealerhips to find out..you'll know ano ang kursunada mo.

The car that you fall in love with during the test drive will be the car for you. Even if its hyundai, honda, toyota, mazda , nissan etc.. no one can tell you otherwise what will be the best for you, you will know for yourself.

This forum is a tool for you to see what spec each car has to offer, and check it against your needs and budget. But preference and taste is unique and I am really disappointed on how some people will continually put you down or say 'sigurado ka na ba dyan' if you do not consider buying what they bought. Weird thing really.

I just bought one as a birthday present to myself. At first, Mitsu GLX is my choice. but after test driving it, and seeing it for real.. fell in love with it...

very good AC; very big body; roomy interior compared to the Vios where my legs barely fit; very big trunk space.

i got the sterling silver color GX. had the door handles and the side mirrors color-keyed..

handling is okay as well..
can't comment yet on FC..

im still below 500 on the ODO..
malakas na sa gas dahil nde pa fully na b-break-in..

GX M/T is GX M/T (Power) without centralized locking doors, power windows and Alloy wheels(Steel Rims only).

colors when i got mine, blue, red, silver, gray, black..
just last week, i saw an olive green sa daan... walang pang plates na GX..
i assume it's stock..


for FC:
before 1000K, im hitting mostly 5, swerte na 6....

now, after first PMS and that i'm at 1510 on the Odo, it's up sometimes 6, but mostly 7..:studsmatta:
hope it climbs to 8-9 na ren

usually route is Pasig to Makati/Taft/MOA...

Guy's also need your precious suggestions. Gusto ko sanang palitan ng mags ung unit ko. Im currently using a 14" stock mags for my 2008 Blue color A/T GX. Ano bang magandang brand, size and color ng mags na pwedeng ipalit na medyo affordable ang price. Also please help clarify nakakabawas ba tlaga ng performance ng sasakyan ung pagpapalit ng mags? Appreciate if you can also share kung ano bng basic enhancements ang pwede png gawin sa unit ko? sana makapag recommend kayo.

kung hardcore ka mag 17inch mags ka yung silver na may color blue lip. 16-17inch mags will affect your fuel consumption pero konti lang, syempre kasi mas mabigat na gulong mo. mas mahal nga pala tires ng 17's. cost would be at least 50K+ to achieve the desirable look.(mag, tires, lowering spring/torno, bodykit).

Di ko sure sa blue. Mine is silver with super dark tints kaya bagay black na mags.

Sa Evangelista ako kumuha. No need pa ako ngayon sa lowering springs. Isabay ko na siguro pag nagpalit ako dampers 2yrs from now.

Instead of upgrading the HU, Bumili na lang ako ng bluetooth device na may jack:


Paired with an under-the-seat-sub, maganda naman tunog at walang lag.

they're not as common on the road as the other sentras, po. spare parts, especially those concerning the body and the interior, might not be not as easy to come by.
also, i read in the past, that these models have "more than their share of electronic glitches". that means, check everything, po, before buying, as the problem may not be easy to fix.
but yes. i find them more attractive than the other sentras, before and after.
google olx, tsikot.com cars for sale, and other online car sales addresses, po, for the ballpark figure.

Hello!
The difference between the two GXs is that the power model comes with power windows and keyless entry, and 15in steel mags.
Just take note: the power version doesn't have power mirror feature. It's an only disappointment I had with the sentra GX power.
