- thanks

ok pa yan.. may nakikita din akong ganun--as in 1/2 of the plate talaga ang nakausli--at it is positioned na kung sakali nga makasabit, las-las ang binti mo-paitaas!

As far as I know, hindi. In the places that we've riden to (Cebu, Bacolod, etc) the traffic enforcers even prefer the plate "to be more visible, the better" daw. Kahit nga mga dirtbikes like the XR200 na kinakabit sa swing arm or side fairing is ok kasi nga kitangkita naman for identification. Those pictures above are legal accessories in most states in the U.S. and even parts of Europe
Ang alam ko na bawal are hidden plates like yung iba nilalagay sa ilalim ng upuan or under the rear wheel fender or plates that have colored/tinted covers.
As to the question of liability if somehow the protruding plate will injure a pedestrian is another story. For me, it's still the same as in the case of a pick-up carrying some protruding steel pipes in its rear bed and accidentally hits a person or another vehicle.

From what I have seen, some premium/performance makes, like BMW, suggest weights(sand bags) on...
