1999 - nung benta na namin yung car, 80% of the buyers told me na sayang yung mod kasi di naman lahat ng tao may cellphone

Yung reverse warning sound na... may nag sasalitang japanese at bell chimes.

I heard it on some owner jeeps and pujs..

in 2014 thereabouts,
government could have done away with all these plate number activities, by simply imposing "no accessories". period. and with strict policing.
instead, they allowed for exemptions, and had very lax policing. as a result, entities suspected that the authorities may not be serious, and started tempting fate.
they won.
