Plate Cover / Protector

Sa mga Deflector users, pwede bang malaman kung para saan yung clear plastic "dots" na may adhesive? I saw 8 of them inside the box along with the screws but I don't know what these are for. Thanks in advance!

Bought a set (2 pcs) of el cheapo (70 petot) plate frames from Blade. Generic no brand dahil ang sagwa ng font nila. Goal is to protect the edges of the front plate from getting caught on the car cover and the pants of jaywalkers. No clear cover. Hirap nang masita sa Makati. Wax na lang ang plate for protection.

I also did this couple of years ago. The new plates kasi is nagfafade after years of wiping. Hindi naman nag yellowish yung akin. Ang maganda is the plate is always looking like new.

i also do the same. para after several years, malinis parin plate mo.

san ba makakahanap ng duraplate? parang yun yung maganda e.

am using ASAHI glass parang mag ten years na yata ito, iba ibang kotse na pinagdaanan, the great thing about it is that glass siya and hindi siya nagagasgasan at lumalabo, downside is ilang beses na akong nasita ng authority regarding sa plate cover na iyon, pero wala namang fine. So what i did is sa rear na lang ako nag lagay, sa harap yung plastic lang sa gilid so pedestrians clothing will just thorugh theside of the plate

yung mga plastic kasi, maganda lang pag bago, after a year malabo na because of acumulated scratches.

You just need to take care of it using proper washing techniques, same as you would the paint of your car. Mine are over a year old, and look brand new - but then I practice good wash procedure and use good tools and chemicals.

Pero there are some angles kasi na hindi mo mababasa yung plates dahil nagrereflect yung ilaw dun sa cover. Pero it's BETTER naman than those tinted ones. And it's really for protection not only for your LTO stickers but also for your plates itself.

am using those clear tempered glass plate cover being sold by aguila glass...for the price of 300/pair, protektado plate ko sa mga taong walang pakialam na-sinabitan yung plate ko..that's the main reason why i bought those covers! plus i bought those allen screws usually used by motorcycle at P10/each and that's it..medyo tipid mode e

tempered glass gamit ko dati . tama ka mabigat sya pero talagang matibay. sumabit yun taxi sa front bumper ko. punit yun bumoer pero yun plaka pati yun glass protector buong buo ko nakuha sa loob ng wheelwell ng taxi. plexiglass na gamit ko ngayon

Bro, meron nito sa Sulit. Sa Sulit ko nabili yung Ralliart plate cover ko.

Using allen screws is a good idea. Deterrent din sa nakaw kahit papano.

thanks for the clarifications. I read in another forum that there was a case in one of the hearings that a MAPSA judge specifically said that only a clear "GLASS" plate cover is legal in Makati other than that bawal.
yung deflector po ba made of glass? or any other brand you can recommend? Thanks

Plastic yun deflector pare.

Pero okay lang yan kasi clear din naman yun. Most of our cars naka-deflector plate cover, no problem sa Makati. Basta clear lang pare.
