Pwede naman i-repaint to silver if nasira na yung chrome. Atleast it's gonna be cheaper since bosny silver costs only around 200. Tapos clearcoat is 100 + lang.

Mga sir, ano ba mas ok Plastic (panaflex) or Glass license plate frame? Sabi sa akin kasi ng tindera sa banaue pangit raw Glass dahil mabigat. Pero iniisip ko naman pagplastic baka mabilis magfade. Please suggest kung ano bibilhin ko. TIA

The Wellars brand? Yes, the oldest set we have is around '97 if I remember correctly. Still clear, no fading, no yellowing, no cracking. Impressive if you think about how most car headlamps easily fade and turn yellowish.

It's going for Php1,800 nga lang now. Happened to get another set, just last weekend. If I recall, it was around Php1,000 during the late 90s.

ako i like the "light" look so i got myself the fuzion plate covers (plastic).

the deflectors look too "heavy" and thick for my taste though.

i like this though (sold out nga lang at the moment):

Sorry if OT, have a barely used (3 mos.) Deflector Plate Protector (brand indicated: Hyundai) in excellent condition. Can sell it for P800 since I don't have any use for it now. Just pm. Thanks.

Yeah, you usually install it for the following reasons

1.) To avoid getting caught by speed cams.
2.) To avoid getting caught by policemen due to your unusually positioned plates that's hard to read
    3.) Kasi pa-cool ka

It depends on what clear spray paint you get - standard clear spray paint will turn yellowish, but if you get the 1K Clear Coat by Do It, you'll be applying a clear that's of comparable quality to automotive clear coat, with UV protection, and therefore should not yellow.
