Guys, I'd like to get your opinions on what I can do with my car. I had it ceramic coated around 2 years ago and did not have it maintained during the pandemic. To be honest, I was underwhelmed at the coating. It's not any easier to clean and it seems I still get the same amount of scratches with daily use. I would like to go back to how I maintained it before- having it clayed then waxed- but the detailing shop told me that a clay bar will remove the coating. Has anyone tried doing this? I am okay with losing the coating at this point. It's nice when its newly washed but I feel that I get more water marks compared to when it is just waxed. Any advice?
anyone who has tried ceramic coating from LG2 Autostation Shaw Blvd.?
they told me they use either Sonax or Fireball
Technical Details ka na lng if ayaw Detail Manila or Optimum Impressions.
I find Detail Manila too expensive, daily drivers yung papa-coat and none of them above the 2M mark
My car was coated by Optimum Impressions, highly recommended kaso their at Sta. Rosa.
Yung Vespa ko papa-ceramic ko kaya I'm looking for options within Metro Manila.
So far:
GC3 Auto Lounge (recommended by members of VCOP) - 5K using Shigemi
Shine Lab (recommended by members of VCOP) - 7K using Gyeon
LG2 (nakita ko lang sa FB) - 4.5K using Sonax or Fireball
Technical Details - 6K using Carpro Cquk (9K for 2 layers)
kaya I was asking about specific brands ng Ceramic coat, Gtechniq kasi ginamit ng Optimum sa car ko and ok naman sya.
Planning to send my car na din sa shop na gagawa ng Vespa ko next year for another coat.
Had my car coated again by Technical Details, ano na magandang topper nowadays?
Had used CarPro reload before pero I want to try something new.
