Will you have your montero installed with dual tailpipe?

* sir green eagle: nagpalit ka rin ba ng muffler o tail pipe lang? swerte mo naman at nakatsamba ka ng free. other shops are willing to give discount pero you have to give them your oem exhaust...i-modify kasi nila yung oem at ibenta sa next na magpapagawa...

this is what's good about what im talking about sirs, ang pagkaka alam ko, i-su-surrender ung oem na muffler/exhaust mo. brand new ung ikakabit syo, para sigurado lahat ng montero owners na hindi sila sasalpakan ng lumang exhaust/ muffler assembly. =)

maganda yan! parang sa santa fe. basta parehas umaandar yun muffs ok wag lang yun dummy yun isa ala BMW. di naman single muffler na dual lang yun muffler tip ala civic.

yes sir... hindi fake ung isang exhaust. =) poging pogi ang montero kapag meron nito.

nope...i will spend my money on other things instead, why stock ng monterosport is single tailpipe? why do dual pipe? not making anysense. kung subaru forester yan or anyother car na dualtail pipe go ahead. yun 12,000php ko pang bili ko na lang ng new tires

sir brian, thank you for your honest opinion. sa totoo lang, to answer other's inputs na rin, wala naman talagang implications ung dual tail pipe sa performance ng sasakyan, its purely for accessorization lang.. papogi,,, true that some will rather spend their 12k sa mags or tires, some sa spoiler or sa washover ng paint.

the reason why we are introducing this new accessory is to distinguish one's montero from the other. saturated kase ng montero ang SUV market, if not for the color, sa accessory lang talaga nag kaka talo talo. =)

if you dont mind my asking sir, how much did it cost you? when you had you'rs installed with one? is it a new assy or converted lang ng existing muffler mo?

Mine was merely a conversion so a lot cheaper than your quotation.
I did not think I had to upgrade the pipes as I was more of aesthetics rather than performance. Otherwise, I would have opted for the entire headers assembly in stainless steel - a more expensive but performance-enhancing option.

sir zix, HKS pala exhaust mo, nice exhaust tip! 2" pa rin ba size ng exhaust pipe mo o you upgraded it to a bigger diameter? maganda kasi panay bolt-on, pwede pa ibalik yung stock. anong haba ng muffler mo sir, di ba mas maingay yan? our gtv oem muffler is about 19.75" length. im waiting for my pabiling magnaflow muffler from the US which has a dual outlet of 2.5". i'll go bolt-on like yours! and btw, thanks for the filters...

sir kaya mo naman maging iba sa lahat....daanin mo sa mags. like what i did. hindi common sa daan yun mags very rare once in a blue moon makakita . maski common yun blue na color ng auto. most is nag invest sa mga bling bling heavy mags. ako iba mags kinuha ko kaya sabi ng friends ko kilala ako agad.

AFAIK HKS Thailand ata ito, not HKS JAPAN since wala naman monterosport sa JAPAN.

nice exhaust! mas gusto ko pa mag invest sa ganito,kaysa sa dual tip/pipe na wala naman gains.

finally, naikabit na rin magnaflow muffler ko. it was installed in E.L.A.A. shop along Boni Ave. Mandaluyong by Dante (tel: 09153429523) who was formerly working at Freemuff. it's 2.5" stainless steel all the way from downpipe to tailpipe. nagbago ang tunog, mas maingay kaysa oem and medyo lumakas vibration ng makina. di ko pa naobserbahan mabuti kasi bumalik na ako dito sa abroad. but driving from manila back to pangasinan, beside the noisier sound, wala naman ako naramdaman na lumakas o humina hatak ng ride. not unless i-dyno siguro to know kung may additional power or torque gain...
