pinaka maingay nadinig ko(outside the ride,ha) is ung makina ng highlander/crosswind....and most 2.8 below engines ng isuzu. jdm mitsu engines are quieter.
nga pala, ang advantage pa ng JDM engine is, kahit di masyadong condisyon ang makina, pasado sa emission kahit walang suhol.. 50% below pa nga e!

subic pajero owner here, going 2 years.. no major problems so far, just the a/c breaking down... my paj has done numerous trips up north.. i'm very satisfied with it.
imo, in terms of ride comfort, hands down sa pajero.. and though its a diesel, its pretty quiet inside the cabin.

Hahaha. Natawa naman ako sa reply mo yummy. Lahat tama.
Basta ako ang masasabi ko, I would rather be caught dead driving a pajero than the other car. Walang sasama loob ha? Di nako nagbanggit ng brand. Ito isipin mo, after 4 years, proud ka pa rin sa pajero mo kahit saan ka pa makarating . E yung isa kaya proud kapa? Peace brother.

Revo na! Mas OK ang orig LHD, saka naka experience na kami mag repair ng air con ng isang converted car, grabe! ang dugo!, katakut-takot na conversion pa ang ginawa sa aircon bago maayos, kasi although naconvert na sa kaliwa ang manibela, yung aircon as is pa rin parang nausog lang nang kaunti to accommodate the steering wheel at the left, tapos as said, chop chop nga usually ang mga dash saka medyo nakakalito ang wirings minsan kapag panget ang pagkaka convert, but if you really like the Adventure look I'd advise you to have an Adventure GL or 97 model na Adventure...

August 22nd, 2006 12:59 AM #27kahit anupaman ang balak mong bilhin, just make sure to tug along a very good mechanic para di ka magastusan masyado. have a careful inspection of the unit, scrutinize closely at huwag magmamadali. tama ka, sit back, relax, contemplate on the comments given here and there before you decide.
satisfied jdm user ako for about 3 years now and no major problems so far. i'd been to a lot of trips to the north and back to manila and i'll tell you, iba ang mabigat na sasakyan, masarap siyang i-biyahe lalo na pangmalayuan. MALAKI ANG DIPERENSIYA driving an SUV COMPARED TO AN AUV. MALAKI as in MALAKI, maniwala ka kahit ano pa man ang sabihin ng iba.
safety? dala ka magaling na mekaniko. lahat ng tao siyempre gusto SAFETY first. focus on the critical issues of conversion in case you're leaning on the subic units. they are SUV's at makakapal ang kaha nila at pang-matagalan talaga. so kung solved na ang conversion issues, ok ka na. contact the pajero expert - joseph atutubo, himself a pajero user - he knows the ride well.
the revo is an AUV class, reliable din, it's all up to you. for me, i'll go with the pajero.
peace man. enjoy!!!!!

August 22nd, 2006 01:50 AM #28I'd stay away from subic-Pajeros. Just aesthetically speaking, I can always tell (9.9 out of 10) if a Pajero is local or from subic. In short, for me and some people lang ha, it kinda looks cheap/TH. Just my opinion.
