    Hey guys, ano magandang sound setup sa 1998 Adventure GL?

    I currently have low class mp4 player (yung japeyks na Sony na nabibili sa mga tiangge) wired to a Pioneer cassette deck 45w x 4ch through a cassette adapter, a pair of 13cm 150w (I'm not sure about the size and wattage) 2-way Sony X-plod installed sa magkabila na set ng middle doors and a pair of 16cm 200w 2-way Sony X-plod installed on the front doors.

    There's a vibrating sound, lumalagitik, langitngit, whatever! Its terrible! Then matigas ung bass pag hip-hop ang tugtugan. :thumbdown: But it sounds nice pag acoustic, rock or other genre.

    I enjoy listening to screamo, emo, punk, metal, rap-metal, pop-rock, bands like Underoath, Saosin, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, Stone Sour, System Of A Down, The Almost, FlyLeaf, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Paramore, Audioslave...:band:

    I want better sound quality, I prefer more emphasized and louder bass even though I'm into rock. I just wanna hear the double-pedal shatter the glass and rip apart the hearts of the listeners.:kill: I like the drums, guitars, bass guitar and vocals to be clear and distinct, I can tell those sounds apart because of its clarity. How could I achieve that sound quality? What head unit, amps, speakers and sub-woofers should I install? Where should I place them putting into consideration the space, not sacrificing the seating and luggage capacity? Please help me out.

    The quality of sound is highly dependent on your budget. The adventure has more than enough room for a good sound set-up. The subwoofer that I placed in my old adventure was inserted between the back of the 2nd row seat and the side-facing 3rd row seats.

    sir sa description niyo, pang sq style na setup... the first that i could say is yung front gawing seps... meaning may tweeter and the side is for mid tunes. for that kind of sounds recommend ko infinity pero kung budget meals then go for targa... bang for buck yan. then ok na yung sa rear doors na speakers. sa amp naman go for v12, fenton or kung may budget RF. sa subs naman 12" phoenix gold, again kung may budget go for jbl or rf punch. yung box naman sealed na lang para hindi consumo ng space. then pagawa mo na pataas instead na box shape para hindi compromise and luggage area.

    rattling usually comes from busted speakers.

    o ya dont forget about the hu, pioneer is always the bang for buck hu IMO.

    Sir, I'm new in car audio setup. What is SQ? RF? Pwede paki specify po yung buong brand model pati na rin po ng price and saan mabibili or mapapainstall. Thanks a lot!

    sound setup types:
    SPL = sound pressure level (boom boom)
    SQ = sound quality
    SQL = mix of both

    yung RF is rockford, its a very good brand for subs and ampli...

    yung subs nila is called RF punch... ok ito.

    im not that familar with the model types of each brand pero kahit yung mga basic models nila ok pa rin IMO.

    just remember, if your going for SQ, buhos budget sa seps and crossover also yung HU. ok lang medyo mahal sa seps kasi rock ang medyo trip niyo. sa subs naman ok RF punch or JL audio para malinaw bass and malambot bayo niya pero if tight budget... phoenix gold or targa will do.

    Bro, ang mawawalan lang ng warranty ay yung stereo. Pero yung iba like engine/drivetrain, electricals, body, suspension, etc. ay hindi. But still, try to confirm this with your SA.
