Sound SetUp for an Adventure

Guys, new adventure owner also here.. just got yesterday a 2000 Adventure Super Sports and im on plan of putting up a 5.1 entertainment system.

My planned set-up:

HU/DVD player: JVC 4305
Seps: Macrom M3S40
Rear coax: Targa
Subs: Sealed Macrom Sub 12"
Amp: V12

Hope this will be an all stock look with a bang for the buck quality. Will have this installed at Araneta Car Accesories of Jeff Tan.

Bro.. Halos parehas tayo genre sounds.. Siguro advice ku sayo.. Hanap ka muna ng ok ng head unit.. Palit ka ng seps sa harap.. if may butas ka na sa gilid ng pinto mu sa harap.. yung 6" na component system na kabit mo.. Tapos v12 na amp ok na yun.. then mag sealed box ka nalang sa sub mo for sound quality pero pag di mo naman pinupuno sasakyan mu ok na din ported.. kay jeff tan ok mag pa set up at bumili dun..

But if ayaw mo mag subs good head unit and seps(speakers) okai sa olrayt na yun!.. Lalo na pag ganyan pinapakinggan mo..

ako set-up ko lang..

HU: Pioneer deh-6750
SEPS: 4" nakamichi 3-way component system
AMP: jbl
SUBS: kicker ex na nasa ported box..

Ok na yun bro.. Pero try mu muna palit ka HU then seps plus amp.. Sarap sobra sa pandinig lalo na sa emo,punk,acoustic and rap metal..

well you can just add the tweeters and crossovers if ayaw niyo na magastos masyado... pero if busted na yung speakers, panget na talaga sound niyan lalo na pag lagyan ng ampli. passive crossover should do IMO kasi yung electrical take power din sa amp kaya mas trip ko passive, its just there to seperate the hi's and mid's. you can keep the once in the rear doors kasi pang rear feel lang naman yun and power ng HU.

if your going for SQL setup, ok talaga L7 solo baric, pero its not my choice kasi power hungry and expensive. mas ok na L5 na kicker na lang. place it sa luggage area pero pataas yung box (not the box shape). i personally like sealed type kasi it saves space.

Actually its not the speakers that are rattling.. I think the doors are rattling! How can I put an end to that? How much would it cost yung mga set-up na yan? Thanks a lot!

You have to reinforces your door to improved sounds quality and fewer annoying rattle and vibration. Try Dynamat on the wall, Dampen noise in corners and HushMat Ultra H-2-O sealing caulk into those hard to reach area.

Sir sic.zero ala po aku magawa kanina and na stuck sa traffic.. Naalala ko yung thread mo..

Eto po para po mas may idea kayo.. Kahit magandang HU lang sigro palitan niyo.. Ang dami pa naman po magandang HU ngayon.. and may narinig po ako na may bagong HU na mas mataas na watts??

HU lang nagdadrive sa speakers(fader adjusted 6 sa rear speaker)
rear speaker is a stock 6" 3 way ng advie
volume is 40

Seps : JBL 6.5" p660c
Sub : RockFord P2 12"
Amp for Seps : LA Bolt 200.2
Amp for Sub : RF 400.2

sorry for the late reply.. hindi ko napansin yung thread... yung rattling can be remedied by deadening...

if your talking about the L7 SPL setup, easy 30k sa subs+box and amp pa lang. kailangan mo high powered amps plus capacitor for those L7's pero kung L5 mas mura hindi hamak.

then for the tweeters and crossover add another 10k for that kung electrical. pero if passive lang naman mga 7k for the 2 ch amp then crossover and tweeters. konzert can do it for the amp.

oo nga pala, ano na balita sa setup?
